Help?

Postby Sebastian » Thu Jul 02, 2009 2:34 pm

If im posting in the wrong Forum, ill try and move post if i can... if not go ahead and delete it;

I played on the Space-war server before it changed over to SB3 so i went and SVN'd all the 3's (Ex- RD3, LS3, etc...). When i try to join the spacewar server i keep getting an error that spams in console and i cant open player-list/score-board without it glitching and i end up not being able to play.... i cant remember the error but some kid told me something about the game-mode... idk, i deleted my SB3 addon and im getting same problems.... Halp? :?

You have a folder called garrysmod/gamemodes which is different from garrysmod/addons. You need to get the sb3 gamemode file and put in in the garrysmod/gamemodes file.

I'm not sure what you deleted, but if it was the sbep file, you probably need to get that back. If it was sb3, get it back and put it in your gamemode folder.

Note:it may be called gamemode instead of gamemodes.

Yo, we're moving back SB2 soon anyways so I wouldn't worry your self over it too much.

But JIC,
1) Make sure the folder is named "SB3" exactly, case sensitive.
2) Make sure it lies in the "gamemodes" folder
3) Verify you have the latest copy of SB3 by running tortoise on it, or download a new copy from glua.net

(Your error is related, trust me)

If the above fails, wait it out until we can roll back to SB2.
